Experience the wetlands at their most enchanting moment as the first light breaks over Tralee Bay Wetlands Ecology Park. Join us for a serene and immersive Dawn Chorus Walk, guided by Ornithologist Ed Carty, and witness the park awaken in a symphony of birdsong. As we set off at 6am, you’ll step into the heart of the wetlands just as the reed beds, lake edges, and surrounding skies come alive with morning activity. Ed will lead you through this peaceful landscape, helping you identify the species you encounter and sharing fascinating insights into their behaviour, habitats, and the ecological and cultural importance of the wetlands they call home. Whether you’re an experienced birder, a curious beginner, or simply someone who loves the quiet beauty of early morning outdoors, this walk offers a memorable and accessible nature experience for all. If you have binoculars, feel free to bring them along. 📅 Date: Saturday, 23rd May 2026 As this is an outdoor event, please dress warmly and wear suitable footwear for walking on natural terrain. A gentle, uplifting start to your day awaits at Tralee Bay Wetlands Ecology Park.
